Beth Emet EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER Virtual Programs

At Beth Emet we believe children learn best from hands-on, interactive experiences. During the Covid quarantine we recognized we needed to provide this virtually. We challenged ourselves to engage the children interactively. Learning is not passive! In addition to this we wanted to maintain our relationships with our students and our families.

Our ECC (Ready Set Go through Pre-K) classes met over Zoom, daily.  With smiles, songs, questions, and conversations, teachers were able to connect with their students virtually, both as a class and on an individual basis.  We also offered many "specials" each week including Spanish, Math, Science, Story Time, Sports, Storyteller Writers' Workshop, Yoga and Art.  In addition, our teachers filmed many videos that our students could watch on-demand on our YouTube Channel.  Each team of teachers also collaborated to create age-appropriate Virtual Books with activities, recommended books and songs for students and their families to enjoy at home. In addition to the virtual learning, each week the staff met one night to share, learn, and grow with our parents. Please click below to check out our YouTube videos and virtual books!
