GALA AWARDS 2022
The Temple Beth Emet Awards recognize extraordinary achievement in various aspects of synagogue life. Our goal is to honor our leaders who are ensuring the future of our synagogue, the future of our community & the future of the Jewish people! We are asking our community to nominate those leaders they would like to see honored. Nominees must be submitted by April 8, 2022.
Awards nominations have closed until Gala 2023. Thank you for all the nominations.
The Bennett Greenspon Leadership Award
This award honors an outstanding individual/couple for their distinguished
leadership and devoted service.
- Must be a current member of Temple Beth Emet for at least 10 years
- Have dedicated their time and efforts to the growth and prosperity of TBE
- Inspires others to be involved, creates relationships & opportunities for connections to TBE
- Have demonstrated the capacity to bring creative new thinking, while leaving a legacy for TBE
L’Dor V’dor Award (Next Generation Award)
This award honors outstanding young leaders (individual or couple).
- Must be a current member of Temple Beth Emet for at least 3 years
- Have demonstrated commitment, involvement and leadership at TBE
- Have their child(ren) enrolled in one of our TBE programs (ECC, BES, Merkaz Limud or Youth Group) and share the importance of educating the next generation
Ner Tamid Award (The Eternal Light-Igniting Young Minds Award)
This award honors TBE’s Jewish educational professionals.
- Must be a current teacher/staff of Temple Beth Emet for at least 2 years
- Have demonstrated innovative and creative programming in their classroom
- Is a team player
- Respected and appreciated by parents and students
